The situation at customer's site
The customer publishes the most varying product data in HTML format in the Intranet and uses a corporate layout that has already been introduced for the entire Intranet documentation.
Now the documents of the subsidiaries in the various countries are also to be included. However, these are created in FrameMaker format.
The target
The customer requirement is: The documentation of the subsidiaries in the various countries must appear in the Intranet with the same look & feel, including being embedded in the existing navigation structure so that every user can find his/her way immediately.
The solution
A solution was developed and introduced which, based on WebWorks Publisher, achieves the aim without the source template having to be adapted.
The implementation included the compilation of the WWP project and a user's manual and training of the person in charge of this conversion.
